Annual HWIS Field Day was a great success!

On June 9th, HWIS preschool and elementary students, staff, and parents gathered for our annual Field Day. While Field Day is meant to enjoy the summery weather and outside play it is also a time to celebrate and acknowledge the hard work that each member has put into making sure this school year was successful. Eager to take part in the day’s activities, students packed the face painting station, enjoyed a variety of obstacle courses, and managed to still have time to explore the bouncy house! The bravest teachers also participated in the fun by trying to keep up with the students in the sack and dragon boat races. After a hot morning filled with excitement, everyone was able to cool down in the shade while enjoying a delicious picnic lunch. For the closing ceremony, students thrilled the audience of parents by performing the “Cha-Cha Slide!” We would like to send a special thank you to the staff, teachers, parents and most importantly the students for their efforts in making this school year one to remember!
