American Kids recite "The Ballad of Mulan"
In the afternoon of March 8th, 36 American kids used Chinese to recite the Ballad of Mulan at the New York Lincoln Center. Young and adorable voices opened the curtain of the dance performance. Most of those little performers, ages 4 to 12, started studying Chinese at age 2 at a New York bilingual school.
The dance performance, "The Ballad of Mulan", had four performances since their opening on March 5th, and attracted ten thousand local audience members. This performance is one of the cultural events from the China Arts and Entertainment Group.
